BA - Liberal studies at CSU Sacramento with elementary school education and natural science focus. Also attended UC Davis from 1997-2000. From there I took a break from college classes and explored other options. I continued my education at Sierra College in Rocklin in 2007, then transfered to CSUS. I graduated with a BA in the summer of 2013.
Experience
Elementary School reading and math tutoring while enrolled at CSUS. Liberal studies classes included to name a few: Geography, math, astronomy, history, sciences, and music. I am interested in becoming a tutor in order to gain more knowledge and experience working with K-12. I am in the process of deciding if I want to teach English abroad or enter a credential program here in California. I have worked with people in restaurants for 15 years while attending college, and now that I have graduated college I would like to start working with children in a school or tutoring environment. SAT score was 1250.

Hobbies
I enjoy anything outdoors from fishing, to snowboarding, to bike riding and hiking. Math is my strong point but I also enjoy the arts and science. I enjoy sports and hanging with friends. I love to cook and I am currently considering a job in Alaska for 3 months. Currently I am working in a restaurant but would like to transition to a career working with children. As a single male with no kids, I feel like I have the patience and leadership to help encourage a fun and enjoyable learning environment. My previous experiences with tutoring have been very rewarding and I look forward to eventually become a teacher in the near future. My grandmother, grandfather, mother, father and brother were all teachers, so I feel confident in my ability to work with children and make a difference in their loves. I am very excited for the challenges ahead of me and in becoming a positive male role figure in the lives of young children.
