Teacher Education with a minor in English Lit from Northwest Christian University in Eugene Oregon, 1 year completed.

I have a brother who is five years younger than me, and I helped him with his homework all the time. Math up until algebra was very easy for me, and writing and reading have always come naturally. In 6th grade, I was at a college reading level. I've taken a few child education classes about how different children learn, and the best techniques to teach each child. I have a lot of experience with kids from my family, family friends, and general babysitting jobs I have taken.

Hobbies

I love to read and write, mostly non-fiction in both areas. I am a huge nerd; I love Harry Potter, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, and just about anything else nerdy you can think of. I also love animals and have a dog sitting company that I started back in 2012 to raise some extra money. I haven't decided if I want to be a veterinarian like my mother or a teacher, but I am leaning more towards teacher at the moment. I am currently taking a year off school to help my grandma, who is having a hard time getting around and is in an out of the hospital. I hope to be returning in the fall of 2015, though, to a community college in the Roseville area.
